Gara davvero bella, tiratissima dalle prime batterie del tardo pomeriggio, per poi arrivare davvero a delle battaglie adrenaliniche e da cardiopalma durante lo svolgimento della gara in notturna !!! Mi sentivo bene e Zaeta funzionava alla grande, tanto che ho chiuso le batterie di qualificazione col secondo miglior punteggio di giornata, andando a battere il buon Fabrizio Vesprini in uno degli scontri diretti. L'ippodromo di Albenga, con i suoi 1000 metri di sviluppo, è davvero uno dei circuiti che preferisco, dove la media oraria è molto elevata ed un buon bagaglio di esperienza è fondamentale per essere efficaci. Nella mia semifinale ho poi chiuso con un altro secondo posto,ovvero la prima fila della finale. L'obiettivo di giornata si stava per concretizzare...
Ci schieriamo tutti per la partenza della finale, di fianco a me Armando Castagna, che al momento dello start, perde il controllo del posteriore della sua moto, andando ad urtare pesantemene contro di me, e costringendomi ad un recupero in estremis che mi vedeva perdere parecchie posizioni e ritrovarmi quinto. A testa bassa e concentrato, riesco ad uscire dalla prima curva già in quarta posizione, e con il susseguirsi dei giri riesco a mettermi in scia a Marzotto, ch eha un'improvvisa perdita di potenza ed è costretto a lasciarmi il passo.
Un secondo posto che ci stà tutto, ancora qualcosa da aggiustare ed il 1° gradino tornerà presto alla portata. Stay tuned quindi, ora un po' di ferie per i traversi e poi tutti a Misano, in centro città durante il weekend della Moto Gp, dove verrà allestito un ovale apposito che riscuote sempre grandi numeri in termini di pubblico ed esalta lo spettacolo in pista.

Really a great race last saturday the 27th in Albenga. The Trotting track of Villanova d'Albenga is about 1000metres long and permits the riders to express their maximum in terms of speed and fun. It's really well maintained and the surface, once it's properly watered, gives a great grip in all the turns. I enjoyed the race very much, and i was feeling really good with the bike and the track that i got the best second score from the heats. I got some great battles with Vesprini and all the guys, winning direct fight with the champ leader. Later i finished the semifinal in second position and the first raw in the final as a resut. I was again ready for a big race and i was focused on the first turn. The light went down and as soon as i started, Armando Castagna, who was next to me, totally lost his bike and run into me, causing my delay at the first turn, pushing me to the fifth position. By the end of turn 2 i was already 4th, concentrated and focused on who was ahead of me. Lap buy lap i got second, following marzotto, who later had a lost of power from his engine and could nothing not to be passed. Two more laps and the chequered flag came up. It's a good second place for me, i still have a couple of things to fix and then will be back ready to fight for the top of the box.
